California Governor Gavin Newsom has filed a lawsuit challenging a series of tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump. This is because the state's industry has been affected by the tariff wars that other countries have started after Trump's decision. Newsom, who is known to be a political rival of Trump, considers Trump's maneuver a suicide move. He asked Trump to withdraw the tariffs.[1]

Newsom later said Trump’s economic mismanagement has hurt everyday Americans, including many Trump voters, and called the maneuvers costly and cost the Republican president billionaire donors and friends. The lawsuit, the first time a state has sued over the levies, challenges Trump’s so-called emergency powers that give him the authority to impose the tariffs.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Previously, the www.hukumindo.com platform has talk about "Taxi Argo Fraud Mode Could Happen in Bangkok", "Local Inhabitant Scam", you may read also "Bird Food Scam Around Temples In Bangkok" and on this occasion we will discuss about 'Fake Police Scam in Thailand'.

The most disturbing scam that could happen in Thailand involves individuals posing as law enforcement officers. These ‘fake police’ approach tourists under the pretense of random passport checks or drug searches. They then claim to have found a ‘problem’ that can only be resolved by paying a fine on the spot.[1]

Always remember, real Police in Thailand do not conduct random street checks or demand fines on the spot. If you are approached by someone claiming to be a police officer, insist on going to the nearest Police station before proceeding with any questioning or discussion.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Taking a taxi may be the easiest way to get around Bangkok, but this is where tourists fall victim to rigged meter scams. Some taxi drivers in the city tamper with their meters, causing the fare to go up faster than it should. This means you could end up paying double or even triple the actual fare without even realizing it.[1]

To avoid this, always use a reputable taxi service, or ask the driver to use the meter before you start your journey. Better yet, use a ride-hailing app that sets the fare and tracks it via GPS for a hassle-free and fair ride.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Tourists are often scammed upon arriving at the Grand Palace. Unscrupulous individuals often hang around the entrance and tell unsuspecting travelers that the Palace is closed for various reasons such as national holidays, religious ceremonies, or even cleaning. Another form of fraud that also lurks for foreign tourists in Bangkok, Thailand is related to tuk tuk transportation. Tuk-tuks are a popular mode of transportation in Bangkok, offering an authentic taste of local life. However, there is a catch: some drivers use them as a cover for scams. Typically, when tourists ask to be taken to an iconic tourist spot, most often the Grand Palace, they will say that the place is closed for a religious ceremony. Seeing the disappointment of tourists, they will offer tours to a number of attractions at a discounted price.[1]

Instead of taking tourists to popular tourist spots, tuk-tuks usually take visitors to local vendor for shopping. Worse still, the tour price will skyrocket beyond what was agreed.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.

Beware of Gem Scams When Vacationing in Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok is one of the favorite destinations for foreign tourists, including from Indonesia. However, behind the alluring charm of its culture and cuisine, the capital of Thailand also holds fraud traps that often targeted foreign tourists. Here are the frauds that tourists usually experience when traveling to Bangkok, Thailand:[1]
  • Jewel Scams. If you’ve ever been to Bangkok, you know that the city is famous for its bustling jewelry markets. However, not all that glitters is gold. One of the city’s most ingenious scams revolves around this industry. It’s called the jewel scam, and it’s a master class in manipulation and deception. Here’s how it works: You’ll be approached by a friendly local (often posing as a fellow tourist or student) who will strike up a conversation with you. They’ll mention a government-sponsored jewel sale that just so happens to be ending that day. Excited by the prospect of purchasing precious stones for a fraction of the normal price, tourists are then directed to a so-called “government-run” jeweler’s shop where they purchase gems at what they believe to be discounted prices. However, as many people find out too late, these gems are often overpriced and low-quality, or even completely fake. So, as you explore Bangkok’s colorful jewelry markets, keep this golden rule in mind: If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.
