Nasional tersebut dengan tidak memperhitungkan kembali harga jual beli dan

Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni has revoked 22 forest product processing business permits (PBPH). Approximately 116,198 hectares of their operational area are located on the island of Sumatra. "Today, I officially announce to the public that, in accordance with the President's intention, I will revoke 22 PBPH forest utilization business permits covering an area of ​​1,012,016 hectares, including 116,198 hectares in Sumatra," said Raja Juli at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday (12/15/2025). Raja Juli stated that the revocations were carried out against rogue permit holders. He said these companies were deemed to have not followed the rules.[1]

However, he has not yet revealed the companies holding the 22 PBPH permits. He said the names of the companies would be listed in a decree to be issued. Previously in February, the Ministry of Forestry also revoked 18 PBPH permits with a total area of ​​526,144 hectares. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Forestry has now identified 12 companies suspected of contributing to the flooding in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. Raja Juli also promised that legal action would be taken against these companies. ChatGPT has been dragged into court again. Renowned authors John Grisham, George R.R. Martin, and Jodi Picoult are suing the technology behind ChatGPT for copyright infringement. The Manhattan authors are suing OpenAI, the company that provides the generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot service, ChatGPT, in US federal court. The prominent authors who are members of the union include John Grisham, best known as the author of legal novels such as The Firm; George R.R. Martini, author of the fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire, which later became famous as the television series Game of Thrones; and Jodi Picoult, best known as the author of family stories such as My Sister's Keeper. The authors accuse OpenAI of copyright infringement by using their work without permission to train ChatGPT.[1]

ChatGPT uses generative AI technology, a computer model that can create its own content in the form of text, images, videos, and even audio. The ChatGPT service implements a large language model (LLM), a technology that allows computers to process very large amounts of text data in a short time. According to the authors' union, OpenAI copied their "entire work" without permission. OpenAI then incorporated the copyrighted work into ChatGPT's LLM. ChatGPT then used the LLM to generate text to answer users' questions and commands. The lawsuit from the Manhattan authors' union is one of many legal actions against generative AI tools. The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Badung Regency, Bali, deported a British porn star with the initials TEB alias Bonnie Blue for violating immigration permits and violating traffic rules. "We have taken firm action," said the Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Winarko, in Jimbaran, Badung Regency, Bali, Saturday. The 26-year-old woman was deported to England and flew in the early hours of Saturday at 00.30 WITA via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency. JJT and INL were expelled from Indonesia for violating immigration permits, while TEB and LAJ were charged with multiple counts, violating immigration permits and violating traffic laws. The immigration violations committed were producing commercial content that did not comply with the tourist stay permits they used when they arrived in Bali on November 6, 2025, namely visas on arrival (VoA). For traffic law violations, TEB and LAJ were found guilty of violating Article 303 in conjunction with Article 137 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation. The Denpasar District Court judge assessed that the use of the blue pickup truck with the words "Gangbus" was not intended to transport people, as he and his three other colleagues did. Professor of International Law at the University of Indonesia (UI), Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, assessed that the Indonesian government has not resolved the issue regarding the citizenship of children born from marriages between Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign citizens (WNA). He said this during a discussion event "Critical Review of Law No. 12/2006 in a Legal Perspective" organized by the Indonesian Mixed Marriage Society (PerCa) in Jakarta, Wednesday (11/26/2025). According to Hikmahanto, although the government continues to strive to improve citizenship laws, children from mixed marriages still do not receive maximum benefits from the law. He cited the case of a child born to an Indonesian citizen and a Singaporean citizen and is considered a citizen of that country despite holding an Indonesian passport. As a result, the child is still required to carry out duties as a Singaporean citizen. The Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Singapore, he said, has made diplomatic efforts to the local government but has not received a response. "In my opinion, the Indonesian government should be tough in protecting its citizens," said Hikmahanto, who regretted the incident because the child actively declared himself an Indonesian citizen. Hikmahanto believes that the process of changing citizenship to Indonesian is still complicated, resulting in many children of mixed marriages facing difficulties when applying for naturalization.[1]

He said the Citizenship Law amendment must provide a fast, simple, and realistic mechanism for them, and the government needs to ensure procedures are not burdensome, especially for those who have long resided in Indonesia. He emphasized the importance of regulations requiring the government to take active action when a child is recognized as a foreign national, even if the child has lived and identified as an Indonesian citizen. He also stated that firm government action is needed to demonstrate the state's commitment to its citizens. Hikmahanto expressed his hope that the Citizenship Law amendment would strengthen protection and provide legal certainty. Indonesia needs to have citizenship protection standards like other countries, he said. According to PerCa, of its 1,823 members, 556 are stateless and 823 hold dual citizenship.[2]

On October 1, 2025, Andreas Hugo Pareira, Deputy Chairman of Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), criticized the government, stating that ordinary citizens born from mixed marriages have difficulty obtaining Indonesian citizen status, while naturalized sports players can obtain it quickly.
