Four Indonesian citizens (WNI) were arrested by Saudi Arabian police in Medina in connection with a hajj fraud. The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Jeddah, Yusron B. Ambary, said that news has spread in Saudi Arabia that the four Indonesian citizens who were arrested were offering fake hajj services. They claimed to provide the slaughter of sacrificial animals for hajj (hadyu) in exchange for money.[1]
Now, the four Indonesian citizens have been prosecuted. The case has also been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The Saudi police warned against spreading false advertisements on social media. Do not offer hajj services such as providing hadyu, selling hajj bracelets, and transportation in the Holy Land. Such actions are often carried out by individuals and illegal businesses.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.
