On Monday (July 20, 2020), the British government suspended its extradition treaty with Hong Kong following China's implementation of the National Security Law. Responding to the action, the Chinese Ambassador to the UK asserted that the UK was "blatantly interfering" in China's internal affairs. "China has never interfered in the UK's internal affairs. The UK should do the same with China." Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab announced the suspension of the extradition treaty with Hong Kong, citing "uncertainty" about China's implementation of the National Security Law. "I simply say this: the UK is watching and the whole world is watching," he said. Under this new law, if a British citizen is suspected of committing a crime in Hong Kong, he will not be automatically handed over to British authorities to be tried in the UK.[1] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.
