Two Dutch nationals who organized the "Entourage Run" community in Canggu, Bali, have now been barred from entering Indonesia. Immigration authorities emphasized that foreign nationals are prohibited from acting as event organizers in the country. Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko explained that foreign nationals are only permitted to participate as crew members or official staff in events featuring international performers or artists. Any activity involving foreign nationals must be conducted in accordance with Indonesian law, leaving no room for practices that violate immigration regulations. "Foreigners cannot simply create their own rules and exclusivity within Indonesian jurisdiction," said Hendarsam in Jakarta, as reported by Antara on Friday (July 24, 2026).[1]

As a follow-up to the alleged violation, the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office has summoned the sponsor of the two foreign nationals, PT SIG. The sponsor was questioned regarding the individuals' activities during their stay in Indonesia and whether these activities complied with their respective residence permits. Hendarsam stated that if the sponsor is found to have violated immigration regulations, legal proceedings will be initiated in accordance with the law. Previously, the Directorate General of Immigration imposed an entry ban on two Dutch nationals suspected of organizing a running event held by Entourage Bali. The two individuals are identified by the initials JAS (35)—a holder of a limited stay permit (ITAS) for employment—and HQV (37)—a holder of an investor ITAS.[2] And if you have any legal issue in Indonesia territory, contact us for business inquiry, feel free in 24 hour, we will be glad to assist you.
