The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed its deep condolences over the death of another Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel serving on a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon. In its statement, Indonesia also strongly condemned the incident that resulted in the soldier's death. The soldier, Private First Class Rico Pramudia, was seriously injured by an artillery explosion in the Adchit Al Qusayr area on March 29, 2026. The explosion is suspected to have been caused by an Israeli tank attack in the UNIFIL mission area. Since the incident, the Indonesian government has been coordinating intensively with UNIFIL, Lebanese authorities, and the medical team in Beirut to ensure the best possible treatment.[1]

Despite maximum efforts, the victim's life could not be saved due to the severity of his injuries. "The government expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family. The state is here to pay the highest respects to the deceased for his dedication and sacrifice in maintaining world peace.
