Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has appointed artificial intelligence (AI) as the "minister" for corruption in his new cabinet. Diella, which means "sun" in Albanian, was appointed to Rama's cabinet. Rama introduced her as "a physically absent cabinet member" who will ensure that "all public tenders are 100 percent corruption-free."[1]

Legal experts believe further legal and ethical review is needed to determine Diella's official status.
